put a little toothpaste on it.

ah, hong kong. home sweet home. we arrived sunday evening and have started settling in our wee apartment. good news: we have a kitchen, somewhat. it's located in a corner of our living room and is composed of a mini-fridge, a sink, a microwave, and a 2-plate range... might call for some creativity. pictures to come.

we haven't had a chance to go to a supermarket yet, so in the last 12 hours i've had to make due with what we brought in our suitcases. i got a small cut on my neck, and because of the recent american staph infection scare (although i'm on a different continent), i was concerned about disinfecting the thing. i went through my toiletries and decided toothpaste was my best bet. it stung like a banshee, but i feel a little better about the situation. and as i was applying my makeup this morning, i dropped my bronzer, and the powder compact shattered all over the bathroom floor. dang it! as i was mopping up the mess with water and toilet paper, the bronzer was leaving its intended pinkish glow -- all over the white tile. so what do you do when you have no 409? whitening toothpaste! worked like a charm -- at least for now.

Ah the creative skeener-burton strikes again. It reminds me of "My BFG Wedding" when the grandpa uses Windex for everything. Hey whatever works.

I am glad you are there safe. Keep in touch!

Glad to hear your safe. I want to hear what you're going to do about delivering that baby over there. Let me know if you need some help on breathing techniques! You could always have the baby in that small kitchen of yours!
