you-tubular.

vintage sesame is the best. the show truly is not what it used to be. this was one of my favorite shorts... excellent subject-matter, righteous background music. if somebody like of montreal or an equally fruity indie group got a hold of this track and put some lyrics to it, i would totally be on board with that.

Holy heck! I'm with Lori...I totally remember parts of this short. Although, it seems very 1970ish to me. I wonder when it aired. I used to write reminders to watch it on post-it notes in elementary and stick them on my bunk bed so I would remember to watch the next day...as if I had so many other things going on. You're right, it's so not the same now.

It competes quite closly with "Today's Special" Which I stand by as one the most worthy kids shows ever that just never quite got the federal funding that Seseme got. Oh well...I turned out mentally stable. Right? Right? Right? Tell me I'm RIGHT!

Wow, I could sit and watch/listen to this all day. Does that make me a little pathetic?

Thanks for the Mexican top-secret spy info, good to know. I'm sure HK was very similar to what I described, I've been there twice but you don't quit pick up on those small details from short jaunts...

Glad you're welcoming fall with open arms. I'm sure the weather in MX helps, I would be needing the old valium if I were at home, I hate this time of year, even if Halloween is a pretty sweet holiday. I just hate the beyotch called winter...

no. way. I was just thinking before it started that my favorite one was when they made the crayons. But there might have been one on Mr. Rogers too...
